OFW Lounge: Who Can Use It and How
The OFW Lounge is a free rest area at NAIA for Overseas Filipino Workers. This guide explains who can use it, how long you can stay, how to get in, and the simple house rules to follow while you are there.

Who can use the OFW Lounge?
OFWs leaving on international flights can use the lounge. Passengers arriving on international flights who have a domestic connecting flight can also enter.
The lounge has limited capacity, so entry is on a first-come, first-served basis. If the lounge is full, OWWA may limit entry until a seat becomes available.
How much does it cost?
It is free. Food is served inside, and you do not need to pay for anything.
How long can I stay?
You can stay for up to six (6) hours.
Based on anecdotes, you are only allowed inside if your flight leaves within the next six (6) hours.
Where is the lounge?
In Terminal 3, the lounge is on the departures level. When you face the check-in counters from the entrance, it is on the left side of the terminal, near Entrance Door 7. It is best to check in for your flight first, then go to the lounge. That way you can simply clear immigration and security about an hour before your flight.
In Terminal 1, the lounge is after immigration and security. From the final security check, just walk straight ahead and you will see it near Starbucks.
How to access
When you reach the lounge, scan the QR code on the wall, or open one of these links:
- Terminal 1: lounge.owwa.gov.ph
- Terminal 3: lounget3.owwa.gov.ph
Then present all three of the following:
- Any one of these as proof that you are an OFW: a valid OWWA e-Card, an OFW Travel Pass, or an OEC (Overseas Employment Certificate).
- Your boarding pass if you have already checked in, or your e-ticket if you have not checked in yet.
- Your passport.
If you have a connecting flight, the boarding pass you show should prove that you came from an international flight.
House rules inside the lounge
- Get only the food you can finish, and do not waste it. Taking food out of the lounge is not allowed.
- Clean up after yourself. Wipe your table, throw trash in the proper bins, return trays, plates, and utensils to the designated area, and leave the space clean for the next user.
- Respect others. Keep noise to a minimum and help maintain peace and order inside the lounge.
- No smoking, vaping, or alcoholic beverages inside the lounge.
- Items found in the lounge will be turned over to Airport Security or to the OWWA Helpdesk.
- There are CCTV cameras inside the lounge. By accessing the lounge, you agree that your voice and appearance may be recorded.
- Respect the privacy of others when taking photos or recording videos inside the lounge.
