Everything you need to do before departure, even right before you leave for the airport.

TerminalT1

  1. Getting to NAIA

Plan how you'll reach the terminal — see our guide on getting to and from NAIA for Grab, airport buses, and taxi options. Driving in? Check live slot counts on the parking guide first.

  2. eTravel and Travel Tax

Filipino citizens leaving the country are required to fill out eTravel.

Philippine Travel Tax is also required for Filipinos (except OFWs going to their job site) and permanent residents (who has stayed in the Philippines for more than a year).

  3. Check-in

You can check-in online before you leave for the airport. You will still need to drop by the airline counter for document check and bag drop. Counters typically open 3 hours before departure and close 60 minutes prior.

  4. Clear Security

Make sure your carry-on follows the baggage rules — liquids, vapes, lighters, and power banks all have specific limits.

  5. Immigration

Have your passport, boarding pass, and travel tax receipt ready. Lines can stretch long; arrive early.

  6. Proceed to Gate

Watch the screens and listen to announcements for any last-minute gate changes.
